What happens when the city's best comics walk into a comic book shop? A whole bunch of malarky, that’s what.  

Hosted by Lee Robinson and Alex La, Malarky brings you incredible comedians in a space that feels more secret than showbiz. Thesea who have been featured on Netflix, The Tonight Show, Adult Swim, Don’t Tell Comedy, and more.

It is our 6th annual Brooklyn Pride Comic Book Fair! Featuring a glut of queer comics creators including Priya Huq (5 Minute Marvel, The Nib), Bradley Clayton (Monsters in Love, Killer Queens), Amy Reeder (Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, Amethyst), Kevin Alvir (Lisa Cheese and the Ghost Guitar), MK Trahan and so many more!

Located at the Brooklyn Pride Center at the Armory (1561Bedford Ave), the event is free to attend and has been a great showcase for both LGBTQIA+ artist and Brooklyn based artists in general.

Started by the late John Jennison (Closet of Secrets, Mystic Male Tarot) Anyone Comics maintains his legacy of a welcoming convention that takes into consideration everyone’s needs. It’s free it’s open to everyone, masking is strongly encouraged.

This year’s panel schedule is:

12:00- Activate Your Activism with Tea Fougner (Boom Studios), Jay Edidin(Jay and Miles X-Plain the X-men), and Regine Sawyer (Women In Comics)

1:30- Future of Comics Journalism with Heidi Macdonald (Comics Beat), Jay Edidin, Michael Simeon (BlackGayComicGeek), and Brian Rabadeau (CBR)

3:00- Explaining Fanfiction to Amy Reeder with hosts MX Macabre, Jackson Juniper, and Jessica Plummer

4:30- Hex Appeal: Magic, Pop Culture and Why it Captures Us. Moderated By Dan Watters (Nightwing, Batman Dark Pattern) with Danny Lore (Bloodline, Teen Justice), Joe Corallo (Mine!, King Arthur and the Knights of Justice) and Bradley Clayton.

But the party, does not end when the fair is done!

After spending the day buying queer comic arts and attending panels at the Brooklyn Pride Comic Book Fair, head back to Anyone Comics on Nostrand Ave for our annual After Party!!

Arrive early to decorate a mask for our (Un)Masked Cosplay Contest! We will have all the supplies you need to create your own superhero mask. There will be prizes awarded to our favorite masks!

Comic themed beverages, Drag performances, and more await you as we celebrate pride the geeky way! What queer art event would be complete without a drink (or four)?

Must be 21+ to enter. Doors Open at 7pm, Performances start at 8pm
